At HD Cleaning, today’s project focused solely on carpets, no distractions, because at the end of a tenancy, the floors set the first impression. We began with a fibre and condition check across the staircase runners, landings and living room, noting traffic lanes, edges and any visible spots. A slow, thorough vacuum removed dry soil, followed by targeted stain pre-treatments matched to the fibre type.

To release embedded grime, we agitated the pre-spray into the pile, paying extra attention to stair treads and nosings where compacted dirt hides. Hot-water extraction then flushed residues from the fibres, restoring colour and bounce without overwetting. Edges and skirtings were detailed with crevice tools, and we made multiple drying passes to minimise downtime.

In the living room, we worked the main walkways and under-sofa zones until the pile lifted evenly. Stairs were groomed riser by riser for a crisp, uniform finish. A light, carpet-safe deodoriser neutralised lingering odours, leaving a fresh but subtle scent.

The result is a brighter, cleaner carpet set that feels soft underfoot and looks ready for inventory photos. If you need an end-of-tenancy carpet deep clean that stands up to inspection, we’ll restore your stairs, landings & living spaces with care and precision.
